Seven Incredible Web Development Resources

We really love web development and we know so many friends out there who do as well. So we thought we would curate a list of seven incredible web development resources that we use every day in our web development fun. Here goes.

Google Fonts – With 815 fonts to choose from, Google Fonts is a great resources to use when you need aesthetically pleasing fonts for your next web design project. These fonts are also the best performers for your website speed.

unsplash.com – Now we don’t think there is ever a better resource for images than unspash.com. They have great images for free (do whatever you want) High-resolution photos. If you want to use the images as a placeholder simply use the sources as //source.unsplash.com/500×300 and you will have a great image as a placeholder.

Skeleton.com – Probably the best responsive boilerplate framework. We loved it so much we created our very own version of skeleton for our internal use. If you want to start a small project without all the bells and whistles of Bootstrap, then this is your framework.

Sublime Text – Sublime Text is a sophisticated text editor for code, markup and prose. You’ll love the slick user interface, extraordinary features and amazing performance. Yes there is a free alternative to Sublime Text, but it can never match the performance… Ever.

Xampp – Great local dev environments are essential for web developers. Unfortunately, it’s not easy to install an Apache web server, especially one with all the bells and whistles. That’s why XAMPP has been around for over a decade: It’s easy to install Apache distribution contains the full gamut of tools (MariaDB, PHP, and Perl) and, crucially, is 100% free.

Viewport Resizer – Viewport resizer is a browser-based tool to test any website’s responsiveness. Just save the bookmarklet, go to the page you want to test, click on your created bookmarklet and check all kinds of screen resolutions of the page.

Colour Palettes – Now we probably love this tool the most. You need to start off with a new website? can’t decide on the right colour palette? Not a professional designer but still want an awesome colour palette for your new site? Look no further. as We quote from their website “With Palettable, you can create color palettes, even with no prior design knowledge

This is also quite interesting
